Rebecca is disabled following a 2013 subway accident that forever changed her life and led to her groundbreaking New York City Council campaign in 2021. She’s also an experienced political operative with over a decade of legislative and political experience in New York coordinating legislative campaigns for prominent labor unions. Rebecca’s personal story, advocacy, and political work has been featured in the Emmy-nominated series Inaccessible Cities, the Tamron Hall Show, Teen Vogue, and other major media outlets.
